A few weeks ago, I wrote my first “Sian Attempts…” post where I explained that I’m trying to teach myself to cook different things and expand my knowledge.
Last time, I attempted a salmon and asparagus dish which was AMAZING. If you didn’t see it, you can read it here!
So Dan and I tried to make our own pizzas a long time ago which was a bit of a disaster, so we decided to try it again. Except we cheated a bit and bought pre-made gluten free bases… whoops!
After that we added tomato puree and grated cheese, cooked chicken, chorizo and peppers. It looked SO good!
We baked it for 10 minutes and it was just incredible when it came out.
Pizzas are simple to make (unless you make the dough!) and it made us wonder why on earth we spend money on buying Dominos or frozen supermarket pizzas!
The other part about making your own pizza is the fact that you control what goes in there. No nasty surprises, it’s still not exactly healthy but it’s not quite as fattening as a Dominos but still just as tasty!
Next time I really want to attempt making the dough again so that it’s completely home made, I definitely think that would be super fun!
Our next meal is homemade chicken goujons, I’m SO excited to make these!!
Have you made pizzas before? Let me know if you’ve made the dough, was it hard?!
