One of my main goals for 2017 is not to put too much pressure on myself. I always try to make myself do too much and end up not doing anything because I get overwhelmed!
So this year, instead of setting myself 2 or 3 goals for my personal life, my fitness journey and my blogging, I decided to set one goal for each – so here are my goals for 2017:
Save as much money as possible and spend less!
I spend way too much – mainly on food, haha. This year I’m aiming to save lots of money for our wedding and to get a mortgage deposit not too long afterwards, which means taking lunches to work, cutting back on Costa/Starbucks and finding days out that are less expensive!
Get back into blogging
I’ve missed you guys and I hope you’ve missed me! I definitely want to make more time for my blog, I find it really enjoyable when I’m into it! My blog was definitely something I felt the pressure with in 2016 – I was super busy with work and found that I just didn’t feel like blogging by the time I got home and ended up feeling like I wasn’t doing enough and was failing my blog. This year, I’m going to make it less pressured – I’ll post when I can as often as I can. If I can’t, then that’s okay!
Build a proper fitness routine for myself
I lost two stone in 2016 and I am so, so proud of that. I really want to make sure that I build myself a regular fitness routine and continue on the road to getting fitter and healthier!
So those are my three main goals for 2017 (or at least the ones I’m going to share!), fingers crossed at the end of the year I’ll be writing a blog post to say how well it went!
